Filey decided that they could not let Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday pass without a celebration in honour of his life and legacy.
Administrator, Di Raper, instigated the event, putting together a display of books and animals in the hall for children to borrow.
She said, “It was a lovely and very special tribute, everybody, the head, staff and students, went all out with their costumes, showcasing everything from exotic animals to the brave explorers that studied them.”
In the afternoon children had lessons about Sir David and watched ‘The Picture News’ documentary about his work.
