Our values shape the way we work together to create an environment which provides the best learning opportunities for the next generation. As professionals committed to our roles and our organisation, we need to observe certain standards.
The staff code of conduct, which has recently been updated to include social media, defines the minimum professional standards that we should all be working to. When combined with our values, this creates a powerful and effective learning environment. Our teaching staff are also committed to the Teachers’ standards which define the minimum level of practice expected of trainees and teachers from the point of being awarded qualified teacher status (QTS).
