We have started the process of migrating from our old provider to Arbor, who are one of the UK’s biggest providers of MIS in education. This is a long term commitment and we are confident it is a positive move that will be beneficial for both our children and staff.
What is MIS?
Management Information Systems (MIS) is a digital storage system for the details we must hold on our children, parents and staff to ensure the smooth running of our schools. It orders and distributes the information we gather to provide our staff with the up-to-date and accurate information they need, while keeping your data as secure as possible.
Why the change?
Unfortunately, the old system isn’t a viable option anymore as the company is winding down its operations in this area.
For parents
No change for the near future as we are just using Arbor to streamline internal processes. Once our staff have completed their training, over the course of the next few terms, as old contracts with current systems end, we will roll it out as our main parents’ communication system.
At the moment we use a variety of different systems and we know that this can be frustrating. One of the key reasons we chose Arbor was that, eventually, all our notifications, payments and bookings can be done on this one platform.
Full information will be given out as each school adopts Arbor and parents should see a much more efficient and user-friendly system when the time comes.
