The staff and children at Braeburn love the meals that school cook Ashley Oliver prepares.
Her dedication and talent was recognised by Impact Food Group who included her in their cohort of 32 chefs from across the country. Selection was based on their culinary skills, creativity, and commitment to providing nutritious school meals.
Ashley made it through the regional heats to represent Yorkshire and Humber in January. The chefs participated in a “mentor experience” and a high-pressure cook-off, and, although she didn’t win, it was a great experience for her and the school are very proud (and lucky) to have her.
