Career development is an important part of our working lives. Having ambition is fine, but it needs to be supported by a development pathway to lead you to success. The career pathways at Ebor are defined routes for progression which start with the Staff Development Review to identify potential through discussion with your line manager.
Career pathways are currently being developed for support staff. Teachers already have a defined route to progression from joining as Early Career Teachers (ECTs), right through to Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
The Teaching Assistant (TA) pathway enables people to progress from apprentice routes into a TA role through to Qualified Teacher Status.
